Triangular: Offers greater strength for the same diameter. Standard dimensions range from 5mm to 12mm, with typical force ratings between 150gf and 6000gf. Can be manufactured with two legs, allowing convenient positioning on PCBs via its two corners.
Cross-shaped: Also termed quadrilateral springs, these are primarily employed in single- and double-sided boards, flexible circuits, and membrane switches. Characterised by greater height and superior tactile feedback, maximum dimensions may reach 20mm or larger, with typical force ratings of 120gf to 600gf.
Other shapes: These encompass rectangular and irregular configurations, customisable to client specifications to accommodate diverse application scenarios and structural requirements.
